FIND-A-LAWYER

This page has been set up to assist the general public in locating an attorney. The information is limited to lawyers with practices in  the 30th Judicial District of North Carolina, which encompasses Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Haywood, Jackson, Macon and Swain Counties. I have also added links to other resources that may provide additional information about lawyers that you find on this site. These links are to Martindale.com and The North Carolina State Bar. 

Before explaining your search options, I need to make a couple of disclaimers. First, the lawyers have selected the areas of practice in which they are listed. These determinations are not mine. Also, the fact that the lawyer appears on any list is not an endorsement by me of any attorney or a representation by me of the qualifications of an attorney in the area of practice they have selected. If a lawyer has been certified by the North Carolina State Bar as a specialist in their area of practice, that has been noted. If a lawyer has a web site, I have linked their name to the law firm web site. Just click on the lawyer's name in the directory to access their web site. Again, I have not reviewed these sites for content and I am merely providing a link to them. 

The areas of practice are listed alphabetically, as are the lawyers within each area.

The page is set up to enable searches for attorneys in two different ways:

1. AREA OF PRACTICE SEARCH: You can conduct an "area of practice" search. By selecting the specific area of practice you are looking for, a list of all of the attorneys in the 30th Judicial District (who have submitted information to me) who practice in that particular area will be displayed. To start an "Area of Practice" search for an attorney, just click on the button, below.

2. COUNTY SEARCH: If you would prefer to narrow your search to a particular county, you can first select the county you are interested in and then select from a list of the areas of practice available in that particular county. This allows you to geographically narrow your search. Many attorneys practice in several counties. The County Search refers to the office location and not necessary the geographical area of a particular lawyer's practice. To conduct a "County" search, click on the appropriate button, below:
